2018 Choirs

Pacific Mennonite Children’s Choir - Canada

The Pacific Mennonite Children’s Choir was founded in 1978. For 40 years the choir has exemplified the best in choral tradition, discipline and dedication.

Since our organization’s inception in 1978 they have toured widely, performing in Canada, the USA, Austria, Germany, Ukraine, Italy, and Korea. Choir members have and continue to be excellent musical ambassadors for their city, province and country.

Birthed in the rich heritage of choral music within the Mennonite church, the foundation of the PMCC is built on a commitment to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The founders of the choir believed that each singer would be inspired and trained to use their musical gifts for the glory of God. The founders and directors of PMCC hold to an unwavering belief that each child has unique gifts and potential, and is capable of developing vocal and musical excellence through choral music. All singers receive training in music theory and sight-singing, as well as private vocal coaching. PMCC consists of two choirs: Choristers, for singers ages 8-10, and Cantare, for singers ages 10-18.
