Juiching Girl Chorus

Juiching Girl Chorus was founded in September 2001. Members come from several junior and senior high schools in Taipei County and all sung with childrens’ choir in their primary school days. They love vocal music and sing together every Saturday morning rehearsing a variety of musical styles from classic to folk music. The purpose of its foundation was to provide a place for teenage girls to sing and enjoy choral art. Juiching Girl Chorus performs frequently in the Taipei area. It has won several prizes – one of these being the third prize in the 6th International Choral Festival in 2002 in Beijing.

 

Chen Jui-Ching

Chen Jui-Ching has been the conductor of the Juiching Girls chorus since its inception. He has been teaching music and conducting choirs for more that 50 years. His devotion and passion for his career has won him great honour and high respect from his associates and the public.
