Mandaluyong Children's Chorus
Conceived as a training program to develop and nurture the musically gifted among the underprivileged the Mandaluyong Children’s Chorus has become a ‘spring of hope and pride” for the Philippines. The Mandaluyong Children’s Chorus, under the direction of Sebastian Trinidad, represented the Philippines and brought home a silver medal in the Children’s Choir Category and bronze in the Contemporary Music Category in the 2nd World Choir Olympics in Busan, Republic of Korea. The chorus has appeared with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and is often sought after by choral conducting students at the University of the Philippines as a laboratory choir. |
Sebastian L. TrinidadSebastian Trinidad studied at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music and at the University of the Philippines College of Music. He has sung with the Philippine Madrigal Singers, Philippine Chamber Choir and the Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club. |
