Cantabella Children’s Chorus - USA
The mission of the international award-winning Cantabella Children’s Chorus is to develop music literacy, healthy vocal technique, and choral artistry through excellence in music education, exceptional choral productions, and collaborative cultural arts experiences, to enrich our diverse community.
Founded in 1992 by Bee Chow and currently under the artistic direction of Eileen Chang, Cantabella serves more than 200 students in the San Francisco Bay Area. Cantabella’s highly qualified staff uses the Kodály method to foster personal and artistic development in children and youth as they learn teamwork and self-expression. Most of all, our singers cherish the joy of singing together.
Eileen Chang, Artistic Director, is in her eighth year working with the Cantabella Children’s Chorus. Under her direction, Cantabella has won numerous awards in various competitions and was invited to perform at the ACDA Western Division Conference.
