Treble Choir of Houston - USA

The Treble Choir of Houston is a nurturing community of young women grade 5-12 that provides them with exceptional interpersonal and musical experiences. Through Treble Choir projects participants from diverse cultural, educational and socio-economic backgrounds find their voices as singers, artists and women in a musical environment that empowers them.

Treble Choir was founded in 2006 by Marianna Parnas-Simpson and has flourished artistically since then. The philosophy that only the best is good enough has been a constant guiding principle. Treble Choir is tuition free choral youth group. This choral ensemble performs widely in the community and also serves as the resident children’s choir at Christ Church Cathedral.

Some of the Treble Choir performance highlights include: featured performance in Carnegie Hall, The National Cathedral (Washington, DC), Wortham Art Center, Moore’s Opera House and Houston Symphony. Treble Choir is proud for its association with Houston Chamber Choir and the opportunity to perform Britten’s “Saint Nicolas”, “Ceremony of Carols” and annual Christmas at the Villa De Matel concerts.
