Grace Notes, a member of the Celebration Singers Community Choirs is a non-auditioned, women’s choir based in British Columbia’s beautiful Comox Valley. Our mission is to develop musical excellence and foster a sense of joy, sharing and community. Grace Notes repertoire is based in spiritual and gospel music, and is a joyful blend of many genres and styles.
In three years under the direction of Jennifer Forsland, we have gained a reputation for singing beautifully blended harmonies and performing a diverse selection of sacred and secular pieces.
Jennifer Forsland plays an integral role in the Comox Valley music scene as a teacher, performer and conductor. A distinguished graduate of the University of Victoria music education program and recipient of the Amy Ferguson Award, Jenn is the Musical Director of the Grace Notes, Celebration Singers and Island Voices Chamber Choir.
