Young Voices of the Philippines - Quezon, Philippines
To achieve the goals and objectives of the Treble Choir Association of the Philippines (TCAP), the Young Voices of the Philippines, composed of children from different social communities around the Philippines, was organized. Conducted by internationally-recognized children's choir advocates Professor Maria Theresa Vizconde-Roldan and artistic director Professor Jude B. Roldan, these children were selected from choirs under their choral program. Children in the choir are given musicianship training and opportunities to perform invaluable repertoire and promote Philippine music. The choir is also committed to premiere works by Filipino composers.
Maria Theresa Vizconde-Roldan conducts the Young Voices of the Philippines, Kantabella and Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir, winner in Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and champion at the World Choir Games. She teaches at the University of Santo Tomas and finishing herDMA. She adjudicates and guest conducts around Asia.
